Causes, Symptoms and Frequently Asked Questions of Hangovers

Hangovers commonly occur due to consumption of alcohol, which can act as a diuretic. This basically means that alcohol causes our bodies to pee more often, which then dehydrates our body. This dehydration is what causes a headaches, dizziness, nausea, and electrolyte imbalance. Alcohol can also limit the production of glucose (sugar) in the body, which can lead to fatigue and irritability. All these symptoms usually persist for multiple hours, and sometimes full days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Mojo Hydration provide medication for headaches and nausea caused by hangovers?

Yes, we have both and receiving them intravenously helps the medications provide relief much faster than consuming oral medications. Both medications are optional and complimentary to customer receiving the Hangover or Hangover Supreme Treatment.

How fast will I feel relief?

Every person is different from the next, but most customers say they feel significantly better even before the nurse leaves and most often before the treatment is even complete.

Can I do the Hangover Treatment before I go out to reduce the risks of a hangover the next morning?

We don’t recommend this because alcohol is still going to cause your body to push those fluids out through urination, which could still potentially lead to dehydration and a hangover. Some customers still do the Hangover Treatment before going out, and some will say their hangover symptoms were significantly less the next morning.
